About Us
MUSIC BY LOCALS FOR LOCALS
Cairns Concert Orchestra have been performing for the Cairns community for over 50 years, established in 1969 as Cairns Civic Orchestra.
We perform at least 3 major concerts per year, including our Annual Dinner Concert!
On occasion we collaborate with accomplished wind players, vocalists, and other string groups to add zest and dimension to our performances.
Cairns Concert Orchestra is a not-for-profit organisation and welcomes new musicians at any time.
We welcome confident adult (young and old) string players to be part of our orchestra. In order to organise music and seating in advance please contact us.

Players are encouraged to arrive at 6:50pm for setup and to tune. Music stands and stand lights provided
