About The Event
Roman Rudnytsky is an American concert pianist of Ukrainian background who has performed around the world for many years.
Coming to Australia every two years since 1979, the pianist has played more concerts there than in any other of the 100 countries where he has performed. He has now played close to 600 concerts in Australia on those tours, ranging from the Sydney Opera House to small country and outback towns.
Cairns Youth Orchestra & Cairns Concert Orchestra will come together to perform this special event.
Solo Piano Recital performed by Roman Rudnytsky including Mendelssohn- Capriccio Briliante in B minor, Op.22. Rachmaninoff- Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Op.18
Also featuring Saint-Saens-Bacchanale from Samson and Delilah
Arrangement performed by the combined CYO Orchestra
